Sneaky ‘Trespasser’ first look!
Last month we went to Monochrome Productions and recorded ‘Trespasser’ with the exceedingly talented Tom Gittins in Wormleighton, who didn’t mind Loz and I trying every single amp in the place while Dave and Jake were laying down their tracks, nor me perfecting my trumpet technique! Really great day and we’re very happy with the outcome, we hope you are too.

In the coming weeks we will be working on our very first music video, we have it almost storyboarded and once we have some talented actors and actresses we’ll get filming. Once it’s complete we’ll unleash it upon you along with the full version of Trespasser

Making the most of the looong Jubilee weekend

Saturday the 2nd we are celebrating the Jubilee by playing a Jubilee festival on the Burgage in Tenbury Wells with our friends Ronda, The Fabulous Bordellos and The Vaudeville Tramp Band.
The event starts around 6.30pm and goes on till late, we’ll be playing around 10.30pm.
Then after taking Sunday off to recuperate you can come see us at the INDIEPENDENCE VS ROCK CITY event at Worcester’s Velvet night-club. 6 bands and DJ’s playing all night with a few surprises according to organizer Alby Samuels, who has also very kindly organized with the Queen for us all to get the Tuesday off, jolly good chap that one!
Bands include NOMAD 67, EVOLUTION OF MAN, FUSTERCLUK (formerly New Chapter), ELECTRIC REMEDY and of course RONIN.
Doors open at 9.30 with bands starting at 10pm £3 entry

Cavern Club

On the 15th of March we played at Liverpool’s world famous Cavern Club, a real treat and landmark for us, we are very proud. When we were sent the tech spec, we were told to expect standard sm58 mic’s and transistor Laney amps, not a bad set-up, but how overjoyed we were to find Senheiser e395 mic’s, Blackstar Artisan Amps and an Orange bass rig.

The evening was a JAR Music Plug’d In showcase, a real experience: if you take a look at the pictures on facebook you can see me making friends with Adele in our plush dressing room, a great night with some brilliant bands – and afterwards some real fish & chips – or we had hoped, when we got there they were all out; haggis and chips…Yum.

BBC Introducing

Andy O’hare and Andrew Marston invited us to do a live session and interview for BBC Introducing, The show was at Ledbury Market theatre on a sleepy Sunday.
It was excellent fun, thank you to all of you who came, we must have made a good impression because weeks after Andy O’Hare nominated Kit as best front man.
If you haven’t seen the footage you can check it out HERE!
