April Newsletter

Good Morning All, enjoying your Brekkie?

Gig News
This coming weekend we are heading back to the White Hart in Newark and then to the Iron Road Rock Bar in Evesham. We are pretty excited to be going back to what used to be the Railway as this is where we had some of our first gigs when we were competing in the battle of the bands… blast from the past! Last time we played Newark they closed all the roads to stop us leaving, took us ages to escape.

So that’s Friday 4th- White Hart – Newark
Saturday 5th- Iron Road Rock Bar – Evesham

Scottish Tour
We have a few dates booked in Scotland this month, but on the way up we are stopping by Lounge 41 in Workington for a headline slot on Friday the 11th. Workington always delivers a fun night so we are looking forward to going back. The rest of the dates are as follows, 12th- Green Room in Perth , 13th- Pivo Pivo in Glasgow and on the 15th we are playing at Whistle Binkies in Edinburgh. We’d love to see some of you at these gigs as it’s our first time that far north. Haggis anyone?

Last Month

South Coast Tour
Earlier in the month we headed south to play a few gigs with our good friends Duveaux. We played in Dorchester first where we enjoyed our Fish Friday at Spoons and watched Duveaux with their quirky indie pop-rock. High-lights from the gigs were Duveaux joining us on stage in Brighton to play Hungry like the wolf and Purple Rain and also Steve’s impressive 7 point turn in Bath, Clifford was not designed for such narrow streets (Clifford is our van for those who didn’t know!).

A day off in Brighton landed us on the Brighton Pier.

02 Academy – Octane OK
We were lucky enough to be asked to support Octane OK at the 02 Academy 3 in Birmingham a couple of Sundays ago and it was a brilliant gig. we had a great time and made lots of new friends. If you haven’t listened to Octane OK before be sure to check out the Punk Rock Powerhouse. Octane OK Facebook

Ryan’s Gig Guide Review
Last month we were featured in Ryan’s Gig Guide by the brilliant Nick J. Townsend. He reviewed our latest EP Limerence which we think he thoroughly enjoyed… “‘Trespasser’ is a rock anthem waiting to happen. Top work” if you would like to read the whole review it can be found HERE!

Oh and all filming is now complete for our new music video and it is now being edited! Keep your eyes pealed!
